TEŠ could be closed in 2026 or 2027

Ljubljana/Šoštanj, 28 April - PM Robert Golob has recently said that TEŠ, a loss-making coal-fired power plant, could be closed before schedule, in three years rather than by 2033 as planned in a coal phase-out strategy. TEŠ is expected to keep making losses, so its parent HSE is working on analyses that will serve as a basis to decide on its thermal division's future.
