MEP Grošelj to stand in EU election after all
Ljubljana, 6 May - MEP Klemen Grošelj (Renew/Freedom Movement) will stand in the EU election as the top candidate of the non-parliamentary Greens of Slovenia party after his Freedom Movement placed him practically at the bottom of the list of candidates and he withdrew his consent to run.

Klemen Grošelj, one of the two MEPs elected in 2019 on the slate of the Marjan Šarec List (LMŠ), a party which merged with the Freedom Movement after it failed to make it to parliament in the April 2022 general election.
