Environmentalists caution against reckless flood reconstruction

Ljubljana, 7 May - The Balkan River Defence movement has cautioned against outdated and reckless water management interventions done on watercourses around the country as part of the ongoing post-flood reconstruction, in particular the reinforcement of embankments with rocks and concrete that it says will create "straight channels".
