Opposition doubts Palestine recognition will contribute to peace

Ljubljana, 9 May - Launching procedures for the recognition of Palestine will not contribute to the situation in the Middle East to calm down, but rather the opposite, opposition Democrats' (SDS) leader Janez Janša said on Thursday. This was echoed by New Slovenia's (NSi) head Matej Tonin, who added that Slovenia will only "wash its hands like Pontius Pilate".
