Glavaš defeated in vote for helm of EU Military Committee

Luxembourg, 15 May - Lieutenant General Robert Glavaš, the Slovenian Armed Forced chief of the general staff, came up short on Wednesday as one of the candidates for the head of the EU Military Committee (EUMC), the highest military body within the EU Council. The secret vote went to the Irishman Sean Clancy, but Glavaš said he was not disappointed.
