New charterhouse church roof wins Plečnik Award

Ljubljana, 20 May - The team of architects that designed a roof over what has remained of the St John the Baptist Church at Žička Kartuzija, Slovenian's oldest charterhouse dating back to the 12th century, has won the Plečnik Award, a prize for large-scale architecture. Another four Plečnik Medals were also conferred at a ceremony on Monday.
