Analyst says parties' EU election programmes lacking in proposals for new solutions

Ljubljana, 7 June - Candidates in Slovenia's EU election have largely put forward short-term platforms criticising or supporting current measures, but lack proposals for new solutions, international relations expert Jure Požgan told the STA. Domestic political issues, exacerbated by concurrent referendums, have overshadowed European topics in the campaign, he added.
