Comprehensive renovation of Prešeren's home in Vrba to begin

Vrba, 7 June - Culture Minister Asta Vrečko singed on Friday a contract for EUR 2.9 million renovation of the childhood home of France Prešeren (1800-1849), Slovenia's national poet, in Vrba. While access has so far only been possible to the main building, where Prešeren was born, the entire homestead is now to be turned into a modern museum complex.
