Blackout sets in ahead of EU election, referendums

Ljubljana, 8 June - Any electioneering is banned as election blackout set in on Saturday. It will be in place until polls close in the EU election and three consultative referendums at 7pm on Sunday. Slovenian voters will cast votes in the EU elections for the fifth time since the country joined the EU in May 2004 to elect nine MEPs, one more than so far.
