SLS disappointed, but says EU vote result bodes well for general election

Ljubljana, 10 June - Franc Bogovič, who has served as a member of the European Parliament this term, told the STA he was disappointed since it seems his People's Party (SLS) has lost the one MEP seat they have had by a margin of less than half a percentage point. However this is a good result for the party that bodes well for the 2026 general election, he added.
