Arčon, who is also Slovenia's deputy prime minister, will be the highest government representative to attend the first match of the Slovenian national team at the Euro 2024. He will watch the match against Denmark with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Some 40,000 to 50,000 Slovenians are estimated to be living in Germany, close to 20,000 in Baden-Württemberg, making Stuttgart the home of one of the largest Slovenian diaspora communities.
