NSi's bill on statute of limitations rejected

Ljubljana, 19 June - The National Assembly turned down on Wednesday an opposition-sponsored bill that would change statute of limitations rules in a bid to prevent high-profile criminal cases from becoming statute-barred just before the end of trials. The bill was tabled last month by New Slovenia (NSi), and was today supported by the Democrats (SDS).
