Sexual exploitation prevails among human trafficking victims in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 19 June - Sexual exploitation is the prevailing form of abuse of human trafficking victims in Slovenia, a 2023 report by the relevant interdepartmental task force finds. Last year, the police handled 16 suspects of 25 human trafficking crimes and identified 21 victims, says the report presented to the government on Wednesday.
