Slovenia fall to Portugal in Euro round of 16 after penalties

Frankfurt, 2 July - The Slovenian men's football team lost to the heavily favoured Portugal in the round of 16 at Euro 2024 in Frankfurt on Monday after a penalty shoot-out that followed a thriller overtime period in which Slovenia's goalkeeper Jan Oblak saved a penalty by the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
