Analyst: Calling early election proved mistake for Macron

Ljubljana, 8 July - The general election in France has demonstrated the power of the left and shown that the cordon sanitaire against right-wing parties still exists, Peter Verovšek, a professor at the University of Gorningen, told the STA on Monday. He believes the biggest question now is whether the left will manage to remain united.
