Govt working on bill on worker co-ops

Ljubljana, 10 July - The government has endorsed guidelines for a bill on worker co-operatives which will encourage development of worker ownership as known in other advanced countries. Employee ownership is present in Slovenian companies, but it is not regulated in a systemic way, the government said after its weekly session on Wednesday.
