Ljubljana Zoo ibexes released in wild in conservation project

Ljubljana, 12 July - The Ljubljana Zoo has released, for the first time ever, five of its animals in the wild as part of an international conservation project aiming to help the Alpine ibex population. A total of eleven Alpine ibexes from three zoos were released in the Hohen Tauern in Austria in early July.
