Heavy rain in N Slovenia triggers landslides, causes floods

Solčava/Preddvor, 20 July - Northern Slovenia was hit by heavy rain and storms on Friday night. Buildings and roads were flooded, several landslides triggered and blocked local roads. In total, more than 230 events were recorded. The situation is most serious in the village of Kokra where a landslide damaged several houses.
