Večer looks at political elements of modern Olympics

Ljubljana, 12 August - The modern Olympics have never been really free of ideology, politics and other influences, Večer says on Monday in the commentary Our Olympics, as it highlights for instance the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, the Munich Olympics in 1972 or various authoritarian regimes using them to as a Potemkin village for human rights abuses.
