Dnevnik sees short-term reasons for Ukraine's move, not sure about long-term benefits

Ljubljana, 13 August - The daily Dnevnik says that Ukraine's incursion into Russian territory, which involves the use of Western weaponry on Russian soil, means the crossing of the Rubicon as outlined by Vladimir Putin, mostly with warnings to the West. It argues that the possible short-term motives for the move are easier to fathom than Ukraine's long-term strategy.
