Večer says American profiteering stands in way of peace in Gaza

Maribor, 21 August - The conflict in Gaza will not end with peacemaking initiatives, negotiations and symbolic recognitions of Palestine, writes Večer in Wednesday's commentary Ceasefire With False Promises. The only one who can stop the war is the president of the US but that goes against the country's economic interests and its strong Jewish lobby.
