Slovenia plans to issue samurai bonds

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia has mandated the banks BNP Paribas, Nomura and SMBC Nikko to joint lead the issuance of senior notes denominated in Japanese yen, known as samurai bonds. The bonds "may be issued in the near future subject to market conditions," the Finance Ministry said.

Roglič wins La Vuelta stage 8 to gain ground on GC leader

GRANADA, Spain - Slovenian rider Primož Roglič (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) won stage 8 at La Vuelta on Saturday after a steep climb on the Sierra de Cazorla to narrow his gap to race leader Ben O'Connor (Decathlon AG2R) by almost a minute. O'Connor remains atop the general classification but having finished 17th today, he now has 3 minutes and 49 seconds on Roglič.

Cyber violence becoming more common among primary school teenagers

LJUBLJANA - Cyber violence is becoming increasingly common among teenagers in primary school, shows the latest survey by Safe.si. In the last six years cyber violence grew by 18% among teenage girls and 12% among boys. Some 65% of girls in the last three years of primary school and 55% of boys already experienced at least one form of cyber violence.
