Slovenia trained over 800 Ukrainian soldiers as part of EU mission

Brussels, 30 August - Slovenian drill instructors have trained around 800 Ukrainian soldiers as part of the EU training mission, Defence Ministry State Secretary Damir Črnčec said after an informal meeting of EU defence ministers in Brussels on Friday. The two-year mission started in November 2022. However, he sees no need for now to train them in Ukraine.
