Von der Leyen's letter shows she proposed Vesel be replaced

Brussels/Ljubljana, 17 September - In the letter European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen sent to Prime Minister Robert Golob on 5 September regarding Slovenia's initial candidate for European commissioner, which was made public on Tuesday, she says that Tomaž Vesel does not have the appropriate competences for the post, and proposes his replacement.
