ICT sector reports further growth in 2023
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's information and communication technology (ICT) sector generated EUR 6.2 billion in net revenue last year, 8% more than the year before. The industry reported EUR 2.3 billion in value added, a 7% increase year-on-year. The number of companies in the sector, as well as the number of employees increased by 4% each. Some 90% of the revenue was generated by services companies and the rest by production companies, according to data released by the Statistics Office.
Vocal music in Plečnik-designed settings
LJUBLJANA - The annual Plečnik & A-Cappella concert series opened in Ljubljana, featuring five vocal music ensembles performing at locations designed by Slovenia's greatest architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957). The series opened with an admission-free matinee concert by the children's and youth choirs and singing school students of Glasbena Matica Ljubljana, a music school founded in 1872.
