Seven candidates interested in running central bank

Ljubljana, 23 September - Seven candidates have responded to President Nataša Pirc Musar's call for applications for Slovenian central bank governor as Boštjan Vasle's six-year term expires on 8 January. The president's office only said it had received seven applications but revealed no names. Vasle said earlier this month he was vying for a second term.
