Last year's deficit higher than initially reported

Ljubljana, 25 September - Slovenia's general government deficit in 2023 has been revised to EUR 1.64 billion, which is EUR 88 million or 5.6% more than the initial estimate of the Statistics Office from April. As a share of gross domestic product (GDP), it increased by 0.1 percentage points to 2.6%, which is 0.4 points below the 2022 level.
