Cerklje ob Krki developing into modern military airbase
Cerklje ob Krki, 27 September - The military airbase at Cerklje ob Krki in the eastern municipality of Brežice is the biggest military airport in Slovenia and the main airbase for the country's military aircraft. It is also gaining ground as NATO's airbase. The Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) currently have 40 airplanes and helicopters, most of them at Cerklje.
