State collects more taxes and social contributions in 2023

Ljubljana, 29 September - Total revenue from taxes and social contributions increased for the third year in a row in 2023, up 9% from 2022 to EUR 23.5 billion, data provided by the country's Statistics Office shows. Total tax revenue accounted for 20.8% of last year's GDP, which is however 0.7 percentage points less than the year before.
