Waste volumes up in 2023 due to floods

Ljubljana, 29 September - Slovenia produced less waste last year as the volume of construction waste declined, but a smaller percentage of waste was processed and more landfilled than in the year before, largely as a result of the massive August 2023 floods, Statistics Office data show.
