Pension system future discussed as birth rate declines, population ages
Ljubljana, 1 October - The fund managing non-mandatory pension plans Pokojninska Družba A held an event discussing the future of the pension system on Tuesday as the country faces a declining birth rate and an ageing population. Several panellists agreed this challenge calls for a stronger second pension pillar, which should also be promoted by the state.
