Committee looks at civil protection and disaster relief system plans

Ljubljana, 2 October - Plans to upgrade Slovenia's civil protection and disaster relief system as outlined in a resolution on the national programme for 2024-2030 were discussed by parliament's Defence Committee Wednesday. Damir Črnčec of the Defence Ministry said no revolutionary changes are planed, but an upgrade to adapt to the rising number of natural disasters.
