Bishop of Slovenian descent to become cardinal
Vatican City, 6 October - Vinko Bokalič Iglič, an Argentinean-born bishop of Slovenian descent, is to become a cardinal when 21 new cardinals are appointed in December, Pope Frances announced during mass at the Vatican on Sunday.

Papež Frančišek je danes med mašo ob prazniku Gospodovega razglašenja, imenovanem tudi praznik svetih treh kraljev, pozval vernike k molitvi za mir na Bližnjem vzhodu in v Ukrajini ter se spomnil žrtev bombnih napadov v Iranu.
