200,000 Tourists in January and February

Slovenia hosted close to 200,000 tourists, 54 percent domestic and 46 percent foreign, in January and February, according to the Chamber of Economy of Slovenia. The total number was up one percent over the same period of 1997, with the number of foreign tourists (90,712) edging up 2 percent and the number of domestic guests (104,824) staying level with 1997.
