Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 4 through 10 April

Ljubljana, 12 April - The National Assembly passed the 1998 national budget amounting to SIT 870 billion (US$ 5.0b). Budget revenues are set at SIT 841.2 billion (US$ 4.8b) and a SIT 29.3 billion (US$ 168.2m) budget deficit, 0.9 percent GDP, is planned.
