Environmental protection spending up 9% to EUR 698m in 2022

Ljubljana, 19 October - Slovenia increased total expenditure for environmental protection by 9% on an annual basis in 2022 to EUR 697.7 million, which is 1.2% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP). The value of performed environmental protection services was 15.5% higher at EUR 550.8 million, the Statistics Office has reported.
