Referendum on Krško 2 officially cancelled

Ljubljana, 24 October - The National Assembly backed on Thursday in a nearly unanimous vote a motion to cancel the nuclear expansion referendum scheduled for 24 November. The parties decided to scrap the consultative referendum on a second nuclear reactor in Krško in the aftermath of media reports about controversies related to the project and the referendum.
