Večer looks at the strengths and weaknesses of UN

Ljubljana, 25 October - The newspaper Večer comments on Friday on United Nations Day, which it says went by virtually unnoticed, as "many unfortunately see the UN as a rerun of the war-time League of Nations, which the German Führer left as early as 1933". The reason is that the UN can by no means prevent all wars and worse yet, not even genocide.
