Pumpkin-carving goes way back in Slovenia too, but as a December tradition

Ljubljana, 30 October - While Halloween itself is not traditionally Slovenian, the country does have its own pumpkin-carving tradition, though observed not in October, but on 13 December for St. Lucia's Day.
