Slovenian language milestones celebrated on Reformation Day

Ljubljana, 31 October - Slovenia celebrates Reformation Day, a bank holiday, on Thursday to commemorate the 16th century religious, cultural and political movement that played a key part in the development and promotion of Slovenian language and national identity. The first books in Slovenian were printed during that time.
