Fajon stresses importance of peacekeeping missions as she visits Somalia

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon visited Somalia as the first Slovenian representative to have done so. Holding talks with Somalia's Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, she discussed the situation in the country and broader region, and international peacekeeping missions. She finds these missions to be essential in efforts to build stability in Somalia. Her visit was part of her East African tour, which she will wrap up in Kenya.
