Study shows need for more individualised nutritional approach in care homes

Ljubljana, 11 November - A comprehensive study by the Institute for Nutrition has shown that customizing nutrition to meet individual needs presents the biggest challenge in dietary care for residents of elderly care homes. The results revealed the need to manage fat intake and increase fibre through enhanced servings of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.
