Slovenians generated 78 kilos of food waste per capita in 2023
Ljubljana, 14 November - Just under 165,000 tonnes of food waste was generated in Slovenia last year, or an average of 78 kilos per capita, of which 61,000 tonnes was edible food, which translates into 29 kilos per capita, the latest data released by the the country's Statistics Office (SURS) shows.
