Polls Close in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 19 April - REFERENDUM/MUNICIPALITIES
Polls closed in 52 referendum districts in Slovenia on Sunday at 19:00 p.m. for an inquiry referendum on forming new and reshaping existing municipalities. If all referendums are successful, Slovenia could get 36 new municipalities whose number would then total 183, provided the referendum will, though not binding, would be confirmed by the National Assembly.
