1997 GDP Growth at 3.8 Percent According to Preliminary Estimates

Slovenia's gross domestic product at constant prices 1992 amounted to SIT 1,227,744 million (about US$ 7.7 billion), while economic growth over 1996 was at 3.8 percent in 1997, according to first estimate of the 1997 economic growth rate announced Monday by the National Statistical Office.
