ECOC Nova Gorica-Gorizia: From heritage to innovation, green solutions and sustainability
Nova Gorica, 26 November - Nova Gorica and Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture (ECOC) 2025, have built their programme around four pillars: heritage, innovation, survival, and green sustainability. This approach convinced the European Commission's decision-makers to select the former "Austrian Nice" and its post-WWII neighbour as Europe's first cross-border ECOC.
