Murska Sobota Bishop Štumpf appointed new bishop of Koper

Koper/Vatican City, 29 November - Pope Francis has appointed Peter Štumpf, the bishop of the Diocese of Murska Sobota, as the new bishop of Koper. Štumpf will become the fourth bishop at the helm of the Diocese of Koper after its establishment in 1977, the Slovenian Bishops' Conference announced on Friday.
