Austrian-Slovenian author recipient of Austrian literary prize
VIENNA, Austria - Slovenian-born Daniela Kocmut is the main laureate of this year's Exil-Literaturpreis literary prizes, conferred by Austria. The 44-year-old author and translator will be honoured for the work Tropfenfallgeschwindigkeit, which translates as The Speed of Falling Drops. The 28th Exil-Literaturpreis will be conferred on 6 December at Literaturhaus Wien.
Spa Snovik to get brand new hotel by 2026
KAMNIK - The accommodation capacities of Terme Snovik, a spa near Kamnik, north of Ljubljana, will be boosted in 2026 when a new hotel is due to be built. The EUR 22 million investment will also expand the spa's wellness centre and conference facilities, said the spa operator Terme Snovik-Kamnik.
