Slovenia calls for political solution to situation in Syria

New York, 4 December - As the UN Security Council held an extraordinary session on Tuesday on the escalation of fighting in Syria, Slovenia's representative Samuel Žbogar said that the recent developments should be a wake-up call to the Syrian government and key international stakeholders to urgently seek a political solution to the nearly 14-year-long conflict.
