Govt urged to ensure financial independence of constitutional bodies

Ljubljana, 4 December - The Commission for Oversight of Public Finances discussed on Wednesday the 2025 budget cuts for the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, and for the Court of Audit. It called on the government to provide the two institutions with adequate financing in line with the constitutional principle of independence.
